Global Routing / Config / Rule
Route requests according to rules
Global Routing lets you choose between Config, Proxy, and Direct. To handle requests by domain or address, first select Config, then check the Rule section in your configuration file. Rules determine whether matching traffic goes to PROXY, DIRECT, or REJECT. Rule order and the final rule both affect the outcome. Save a copy of your original configuration before making changes, and check each rule against your needs rather than using example domains as real targets. If a website behaves unexpectedly, find the rule it matched before changing anything.

Settings / On Demand
Choose when to connect
On Demand sets conditions for connecting automatically and is found in Settings. Before enabling it, make sure manual connections, server selection, and Global Routing behave as expected. Then check whether the conditions cover your current network. If connections keep starting unexpectedly or the status differs from what you expect, turn the setting off temporarily and compare the results with a manual connection. On Demand changes what triggers a connection; it does not fill in server details or replace checking your existing configuration.

Add Server / Type
Match Type to your existing server details
When adding a server manually, choose the Type in Add Server that matches your existing details, such as Shadowsocks, VMess, VLESS, Trojan, or WireGuard. The required fields vary by Type. Enter Address, Port, Password, and other values to match the original details; do not guess based on a name. If your details include transport, security, or other parameters, check the corresponding fields too. The protocol list shows which types the client can configure; buying the app does not include a connection service.

Config / Subscribe
Import your own subscription
If you already have a subscription link, find Subscribe in Config, paste the complete link, save it, and check the updated entry. A successful import only means the details appear in the list; you still need to select an appropriate server and test the connection. If the list is empty, check for spaces added during copying, confirm the link is complete, and make sure the source details are still accessible. Avoid creating duplicate entries to work around an error. Give each subscription a clear name and compare its contents before and after an update so separate configurations do not get mixed up.

Config / General / Rule
Configuration files control how traffic is handled
In Config, you can view your existing configuration, organized into sections such as General and Rule. Before editing, distinguish server entries from configuration files: server entries hold connection details, while configuration files define behavior such as rules. When changing Rule, keep existing working content and make one change at a time so you can verify the result and pinpoint issues. If you use iCloud to sync across your own devices, check that the synced configuration still matches your current server details. Syncing does not replace manually checking fields or rules.

Home / Connectivity Test / Data / Settings
Check connection and data usage separately
After selecting an existing server and connecting from Home, check the connection status first, then use Connectivity Test to check how the current network performs. Data shows traffic statistics recorded by the app; those figures indicate usage, not whether a server is available. To narrow down an issue, check Diagnostics in Settings and note the selected server, Global Routing mode, and network conditions. Checking these in order makes it easier to spot differences in fields, routing, or network conditions than relying on a single test result.
